Winter golf in Pinehurst has been the worst that I can remember in years. Unusually cold temperatures and several snow days have really put a damper on playing recently. Many of the courses have had to cover their greens for several days at a time. Also, we have had to experience frost delays on many days when we did play. As we approach February there is hope for getting back to normal. Ususally by the end of February we have signs of Spring as trees and bulbs start to show signs of blossoms. Sun is forecast this week and temps will improve by Thursday as we look forward to taking on the Beacon Ridge course at Seven Lakes West. I’ll let you know how that goes.
