This average golfer spends some summertime up north and I find that the courses there have far fewer fairway bunkers. In Pinehurst, it’s just the opposit. Most courses have lots of fairway bunkers and a course like Talamore is noted for it’s bunkers. You also find a lot of sand waste areas here in the Sandhills.
